In Greek mythology, Eosphoros is the “bringer of the light of dawn”. His brother “Hesperos” is the “evening star”. There is a passing of the torch, a new birth and this wine symbolizes for us the transmission from one generation to another, the light of knowledge that is shared. We also wanted to give a nod to the association of our two families and the meeting between Bordeaux and Champagne.
This is one of three new vintages that we have created with the new château team.
Symbol of transmission and renewal, our Greek dawn bearer is the new generation of Mangons accompanied by the old in a learned and animating handshake. It is also the meeting of two wine-growing regions, two sisters who come together to invent wines at the crossroads of two traditions.
